Unwritten Law have just released their new studio album 'The Hum'. We were excited to discuss the new music with Scott and we covered many things without his long, colourful career. We honestly could have talked to him all day.

We had the pleasure of being joined by Charlotte Sands. Charlotte Sands has had a massive 2021 and 2022. She has been on tour with huge stars like Yungblud and The Maine, released a single with The Maine and Taking Back Sunday, and a put out a well-received EP.
We spoke to her shortly before her trip to the UK for a headline show in Camden and a huge gig supporting My Chemical Romance.

We are joined by Kieran Kelly, one of the founders of Manchester Punk Festival. MPF has become a staple in the UK scene and is very much our version of Fest! Kieran talks us through how the festival came about and logistics of running it. MPF 2022 is the return of the festival after having to take a break during the pandemic, so we discuss this difficult time. Kieran is also in the band Throwing Stuff and runs promotions company Moving North, so there was plenty to cover!

The boys tell us what is was like coming up in bands in the Birmingham scene and how they came together. In their comparatively short history, they have already booked the main support for the Social Distortion European tour and recorded a full length with Davey Warsop in Los Angeles.

Sulynn kindly gives us time to talk through their musical journey including moving to Florida from Puerto Rico at a young age and growing up in the Tampa scene. We discuss their years playing in various bands as well as teaching guitar (which they still do). In 2015 Sulynn had the surreal experience of joining a legendary band that they had been a longtime fan of! We discuss what this process was like including that amazing viral audition video.

Our first episode of 2021, and we are joined by Jay Maas. Jay was a founder of Boston band Defeater with whom he enjoyed a successful career. Jay talks us through his musical journey of touring the world and being signed to labels like Bridge 9 and Epitaph. Since leaving Defeater in 2015 Jay has been able to focus on the production side of music most recently working with artists like Rebuilder and Kali Masi.
Jay has been working recently with Reverb.com and has launced Maastr for artists needing mastering.
